On August 30 Kazakhstan celebrates the Constitution Day, which is one of the most important state holidays in our country.
On this date in 1995 as a result of the national referendum, the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the supreme national law, was adopted. It established the principles of building independent, sovereign, economically liberal and democratic Kazakhstan.
Over the past years, Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was instrumental in ensuring accelerated economic reforms and maintaining political stability and social accord in Kazakhstan. Consolidation of over 130 various nationalities and ethnic groups that live in Kazakhstan is another important achievement of the Constitution. As stated by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, “Constitution became the key factor of Kazakhstan’s success”!
On this occasion, Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Canada would like to join in celebration of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, wishing further prosperity and wellbeing to our country.
